  • A waiting period since activation — 365 days for current activations, per Metro's policy page (an earlier version said 180 days; Metro's live page is the one that counts).

Where do I find my IMEI?
  • Type *#06# in the phone's built-in Phone app. It pops up as you type the last # — don't press call.
  • iPhone: Settings › General › About › IMEI
  • Android: Settings › About phone › IMEI (some phones: Status)
  • No luck? It's printed on the SIM tray or the original box.
