Verizon

Unlock a Verizon phone.

Verizon's own unlock policy

  • Since January 2026 an FCC waiver lets Verizon drop the old automatic 60-day unlock.
  • Postpaid phones bought from January 27, 2026 stay locked until paid off; prepaid and Verizon value brands unlock on request after 365 days of paid, active service.
  • Phones bought before January 27, 2026 still unlock automatically after 60 days.

When the carrier unlocks it for free, use that.

If your phone meets Verizon's requirements, ask Verizon to unlock it — it's free. Use us when you can't wait, the phone was bought used, or it doesn't meet the rules yet (for example, there's still a balance).

Our price

We don't have a standing Verizon route yet. Run the free check: if we can take it, the price shows before you pay; if not, you pay nothing.

Check yours free

We check your phone's carrier lock and blacklist status. Free, no card, one check per phone per day.

Where do I find my IMEI?
  • Type *#06# in the phone's built-in Phone app. It pops up as you type the last # — don't press call.
  • iPhone: Settings › General › About › IMEI
  • Android: Settings › About phone › IMEI (some phones: Status)
  • No luck? It's printed on the SIM tray or the original box.
